My favorite jacket pattern because of its versatility. It looks and feels like a completely different jacket depending on the fabric you want to use. This jacket has a few options including coming in different lengths (short or long) and the sleeves can have a cuff with buttons or without.

The floral corduroy Ilford pictured is the short version with the cuffed sleeves and features three pockets: two large breast pockets and a pencil/eyeglass holder pocket on one side. It's a size small shortened by an extra inch.
The orange plaid Ilford is a few years old but features closed chest pockets that snap close. It's also a size small and with regular sleeves.
Recommended Fabrics: The Ilford Jacket can be made in a huge range of fabrics depending on the style of jacket you'd like. Heavy fabrics like denim, twill, and canvas will make a structured jacket. Softer fabrics like linen, midweight corduroy, and light wool will make a more shacket-style garment. And flannel, cotton/linen blends, and chambray will make a lighter, overshirt kind of Ilford.
